TGUS is awful. I hate Rutledge Wood with the white hot fire of a thousand suns. I hate his voice, I hate his beard, I hate his whole stupid skinny-fat body, I hate his opinions, and I hate everything he's ever done. They say indifference is worse than hate, but I'm not indifferent to Rutledge Wood. I hope he gets his by a bus. I happen to like Rut because you can tell he's just a normal guy who happens to be a presenter on this show about cars. When the show is at its best you can tell he's just having a blast living the dream.

Calm down, boss. I didn't complain about it, I said it I didn't like it and I left it at that. Complaining would be if I was watching the show and saying "well they did X, and that was stupid!" or "I can't believe they didn't do Y, this isn't nearly as good as TGUK!" But I don't care for it, so I don't watch it.

Rutledge Wood dresses like a late 20's barista at a shitty cafe in Portland that claims they only use free-trade organic coffee beans but they really use the same shit as everyone else and he would mock you for ordering using Starbucks terms because the fleeting feeling of smug satisfaction he gets doing it is one of the only ways he can attain an erection and he says he's in a band but the last band that he was in threw him out because all he could play was "Wonderwall" but yet he has more milk crates full of vinyl of bands nobody's ever fucking heard of because they were shitty fucking bands than he does IKEA furniture in his place and he calls his place "his apartment" but it's really his mom's basement and he's 37 not 28 but it's not his fault because he's tried to run his own business and it failed because who wants to get coffee delivered by a fat bearded man on a fixie that smells like patchouli oil and Krispy Kreme donuts and he supplements his minimum-wage job by selling small amounts of weed and sometimes taking apart free things he's gotten off of Craigslist and gluing the pieces to boards to sell on Etsy as "art" when it's really not art, is it? I'll admit, I watched it for a while. It seemed like a good concept. The first season was terrible, but it seemed like they got some of their act together by season 2. Then, this episode came along, and I just stopped watching.

I mean, the TG UK one was just fine, simply because they used cars that really didn't have any value. Not to mention, they were original ideas. But to copy ideas, and ruin a clean Corvette and Continental in the process? That's bullshit.
